So, after three days home last week, I woke up this morning ready to start my week at home on a positive note. I filled up my water bottle, which happens to be black, with ice and water, and drank it as I ate my breakfast and checked my email. And then I washed my hands in the white bathroom sink, and bubbling out of the faucet came disgusting brown water.
It was at that moment I remembered the flyer from our landlord telling us not to use the water this morning because they were doing pipe repairs.
Whoops.
And so I drove to my parents' house and drank clean, clear water to my heart's content.
And tomorrow morning I will pour my water into a clear glass.
Can't fool me twice.

You crack me up!
Your photos are stunning! I hope all is ok after drinking that yucky water. Yikes!
Bahahaha! Sounds like one of those days! I treasure when I ca work from home, but more than a couple days I know I would get stir crazy too!
The brown water does not sound like fun! Love all your beautiful photos--it's a gorgeous time of year!
Gorgeous pictures! I love them all. Such a bummer about the water...eeek totally something I would do. At least you got to go to your parents. :)
Ewwwww! Well, at least you got to go to your parents'.
Your pictures are so pretty!!
LOL- now I know to always use my clear water bottles! ;) Gorgeous pictures!!
Those pictures are so pretty! You're posts always crack me up.
Gorgeous pics! And lol at the water incident, at least you're ok and nothing bad happened. Yay for clean clean water at your parent's house :)

What gorgeous pictures!! How about you can come and sit in MY office while I go on a nature walk?! Pleeeease? I'm tired of staring at the same four walls and having to stand up to look out the window!
I love when I get to work from home, but I totally feel you on the lack of social interaction - I need the aspects of being in the office that allow me to see and talk to people! Lucky (or maybe unlucky?) for me, I spend most of my days when I am home talking to my cats... which makes me sounds a little crazy :)
Hahaha...ewww! Lesson learned, I suppose. Gorgeous pictures. You're making me want to get outside and do all the fall things.
Hopefully the next post isn't about you spending a day in the bathroom from the water :)
I love the mailbox photo.
I love your redesign! Hope Im not too late to the party with that compliment ;) I used to have an aluminum water bottle that I loved but finally had to recycle for a clear Sig bottle, its a little weird NOT seeing your water after an incident like that!
Gross about the brown water! I love your beautiful pictures though. :-) It looks like fall where you are. So pretty!
Very pretty pictures!
Oh no! LOL "You can't fool me twice!" ;-)
The photos of pristine country creeks--perfect pairing for this story! When we lived in China last year our water went out periodically, and we quickly learned that you had to let all the faucets run for a long time after it came back on if you didn't want to drink orange water....
Beautiful photos! Hope your water is back to normal soon!
Omg that sounds like something I would have done.
hahaha oh no!!! Lovely photos!!
I am jealous of your beautiful fall colors! Cheers to clean water ;)
Yay for clean water. I always use a clear bottle for that reason. A few years ago, we couldn't use our water for a few weeks and it was terrible. Beautiful pictures.
Bahaha! Nothing quenches the thirst quite like a nice tall glass of brown ice water!
Oh ick! I'm glad you're okay though. Drinking brown water icky, although I should be grateful, not everyone has good drinking water.

BLEHHHHHHHHHHHH @ the brown water. At least you didn't chug down the whole thing :\ . Hope it didn't make you ill.
I'd LOVE to work from home. Although, I'm sure once I was in the groove of doing so I'd miss talking to adults.
Beautiful pictures :)
Can't even tell you how badly I wish I had a few days to work from home!!!! Lucky gal -- but you're right, I can imagine its pretty lonely!
Your Fall pictures are so pretty!! I'm so curious... How come you can't drive to work? I've worked from home before and it's hard!!
Well with that view, working from home can't be too bad! ;-)
HAHAHA!!!! wow. Hilarious.
Yuck! Nothing worse than nasty water! Hilarious story and I loved your photos!
The Rad Wife
Love those photos, lady. They are gorgeously fall.
Oh YUCK! You actually drank it?!?!?!
Gorgeous photos! And at least you cleaned out your system with all the clean water you drank afterwards! Lol.
Ugh. I almost threw up for you. That is nasty!
Beautiful pictures!! See?? Fall is beautiful!!
