Last night I told Matt I was going to sleep in the hammock, and were it not for the red flashing lights he installed around our yard to mimic the red eyes of a predator and scare the deer away from our garden, while simultaneously cementing our position as best neighbors on the block, I would have.

Ok, but this is super important: do the lights work? Because my in-laws have tried everything (animal urine, deer blood, motion activated sprinklers, etc.) and the deer still devoured evvvverything. :)

I think this is why Spring is so beautiful ... to help us forgive it for causing those darn allergies. Mine are so awful right now!

Those chickens are so cute! And wow, those flowers are gorgeous. I love springtime so much! I went to the zoo a couple weeks ago, and there were tulips everywhere and it was the best.

I'm loving all the fresh blooms right now too! And we have a camping hammock, that I seriously want to sleep in sometime. But then I fear the birds will pop on me. Or Bears will get me. Or spiders will crawl in from all over. So it has yet to happen...
