Not that I'm counting or anything.
I was supposed to have a meeting this week and everyone was told to bring something to share for lunch. We had to let everyone know what we were bringing beforehand so we didn't have a potluck with 14 bags of napkins and 600 paper plates and no actual food.
Anyway, I laughed out loud when I saw the last dish on the list.

I feel like it encapsulates how we all feel at this point in December. Our hopes are high but we have a lot going on and we're just hoping we can come through with the execution when the time comes.
Unfortunately the meeting was canceled so I have no idea what the dip what, or if it was, indeed, excellent.
I already did some holiday baking, and just have to bring an appetizer to my mom and dad's house on Christmas night. I still haven't decided exactly what to make, but I feel confident in saying that it'll be some sort of excellent appetizer.

Haha that sounds like something I would put down. I can't be 100% that I'll be able to fulfill expectations so just put be down for something. I'm with you girl on the final countdown before 10 glorious days off :-D

Hahahaha I like the lack of commitment in choosing what said excellent dip would be provided. Keep 'em guessing.
I'm sad that you missed the excellent dip. And I want to know what it was!
I have much more cooking this weekend than I initially thought I did.
The world may never know. In their mind, it would have been excellent! Sierra~Beautifully Candid
I'm so disappointed that the meeting was cancelled - we'll never know...
Oh no. I want to know what this excellent dip was as well!
10 days off...jealous! This is the first time since in never I've not had a christmas vacation :(
Plz share the appetizer recipe you end up going with, on account of appetizers are my fave. ;) And HAVE AN AMAZING TEN DAY VACAY!
Hahahaha, that's awesome and exactly how I feel. I want to give 100% but not exactly sure I can. God bless all those people who make hundreds and hundreds of cookies around this time of year. How in the world do they do it?!
P.S. Enjoy your 10 days off! I'm insanely jealous.
I have this grand plan to make a cake roll with yellow cake rolled with amaretto filling... but every day I put off taking that trip to the grocery store. We'll see if it happens...
