i think the national weather service suggests this

You know what they say...if a hurricane is headed straight for your area and you're facing the possibility of being stuck inside for several days, make sure you stock up on...
bananas?

I hope everyone stays safe this weekend.

I'll bet they were trying to get 'em outta there before they rotted. Banana bread for the FEMA workers? Stay dry.

Nothings says "HOW TO SURVIVE A HURRICANE" like a dozen bananas. Uh huh....

I just breezed through a couple of your posts (as well as your 'About Me' section) and I was pleased to find that I like you. (If you haven't figured it out, my first language is sarcasm.)

I, too, carry an English degree, though I am looking for a full-time job. I graduated from Purdue in May, and now live at MY home with MY mom. If you've ever seen the movie "Maverick," there's a line that Jodie Foster says: "My, such, splendid similarities."

Also:
1. I like your pictures.
2. "Darling" would be an awesome last name. Now change the rest of your name to "Wendy Moira Angela."
3. My mother and I frequently make up lyrics to obnoxious songs and sing them loudly, sans embarrassment. We're just awesome like that.

In all seriousness, thank you for stopping by the my blog and for the comment. I really appreciate it!

How healthy of you all!!! When Oklahoma is warned about an ice storm that will lock us in for days, we run out of red meat in every grocery store in about half an hour.

Well I'm glad the people near you stocked up on bananas, those near me stocked up on chips and cookies. It was a bit disgusting really. Tons of produce in stores but no junk...
