who said that english degree wouldn't be marketable?

Way back when I was looking for a job, I posted my resume on Career Builder.

And tonight I got this email from them.  Apparently that English degree is more valuable than I anticipated.

Or maybe this company will just hire anybody.

this makes me happy as a person with a degree in english...especially after having an interview at a paper company and the interviewer asking me why i wasnt applying to be a teacher somewhere instead. bleh!

what the heck? actually I was a bio major but was told with little bit of bio study background and a English degree i could find good jobs in the science fields with writing so I guess it makes sense

LOL! Careerbuilder is messed up sometimes. :) As a fellow English major I can feel your pain...but didn't you just love the process of getting your degree? I wouldn't change it for the world, even though none of my jobs have had anything to do with writing/literature. :D Happy New Year!
